Key Communicators Network

  • The Key Communicators Network is a parent advisory group designed to strengthen the connection between Irving ISD and the families and community we serve. This group of highly engaged and involved parents serve as trusted messengers as well as provide feedback to the district, helping to ensure that important information flows from the district to families in meaningful ways

Program Overview

  • Members of the Key Communicators Network will meet once a semester with members of the district Parent Education and Community Engagement and Marketing and Communications Departments teams to receive timely updates, offer feedback on initiatives, and collaborate on ways to enhance parent engagement across the district and at the campus level. Members will be invited to advocate to support the district’s major initiatives, mission and vision. 

Who Should Apply?

  • We’re looking for enthusiastic, committed and engaged parents who:

    • Are active in their child’s education and school community

    • Have a passion for public education and a desire to make a difference

    • Want to serves as a voice for other families and their community needs

    • Are willing to collaborate, learn and help share district news and initiatives
