Irving ISD is ranked the highest in teacher pay.
In addition to the competitive salary is employee supplemental pay.
- Irving ISD graduates who come back to teach in the district receive a $4,000 stipend (must be a first-year teacher).
- Teachers can receive stipends based upon their teaching assignment:
- Secondary Core Subject Stipends
- Secondary Math Teacher: +$2,000
- Secondary Science Teacher: +$2,000
- High School ELAR: +$2000
- Student Reassignment Center & Cardwell (Math and Science): +$1500
- Elementary Bilingual Certified Teacher Stipend (must be the teacher of record): +$4000
- Bilingual Certified LIFE/PASS Teacher Stipend: +$5500
- Special Education LIFE Teacher Stipend: +$3500
- Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Stipend: +$500
- Special Education PASS Teacher Stipend: +$3500
- Secondary Core Subject Stipends
