2025-2026 STAFF RECRUITMENT & RETENTION INCENTIVE BONUS

The Irving ISD Board of Trustees generously approved a new incentive bonus for the 2025-2026 school year as proposed by Superintendent Hernandez in the most recent Board meeting, held on March 24, 2025. The Staff Recruitment and Retention Incentive Bonus will be a one-time payment for most eligible full-time, TRS benefits-eligible employees who meet eligibility requirements.

Thanks to the dynamic leadership of our Superintendent and the Board of Trustees, local funds will be used to support District efforts to retain and recruit personnel for the upcoming school year by providing a strategic incentive bonus in the amount of $1,000 to certain qualified, returning, full-time employees for the 2025-2026 school year. The District will also provide a sign-up bonus in the amount of $1,000 for certain qualified full-time, new to Irving ISD hires that meet the same eligibility requirements of this incentive bonus.

Eligible staff include (1) all paraprofessional staff, and (2) professional staff assigned to a work calendar of 205 days or less.

Payments will be issued to eligible new and returning employees no later than September 30, 2025.
