Fine Arts and Enrichment

  • Irving ISD is dedicated to establishing a lifelong appreciation for the Arts by providing a standards-based curriculum in grades K-12. Every student should have a basic knowledge, skills and appreciation of the Fine Arts. A quality arts education program will enable students to develop self-esteem, self-motivation, and cooperation necessary for 21st century learners.

Irving ISD was recognized as a Best Community for Music Education for multiple years by the NAMM Foundation. The honor recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education part of the curriculum. Designations are given to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and consistent access to music education.

It is the policy of Irving ISD not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender or handicap in its vocational programs, services or activities as required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972; Section 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.
