House Bill 3 (HB 3), passed by the 86th Texas Legislature in June of 2019, requires all K-3 teachers, including special education teachers, and principals to attend the HB 3 Reading Academies. 

During the 24-25 school year, staff in the ELAR and Biliteracy cohorts will be pulled for 10 days of in-person instruction. Cohort calendars are published below. Staff should refer to direct communication from their cohort leads for additional details.
