Texas Vaccines For Children (TVFC) Program

The Vaccines For Children (VFC) program is a federally funded program that provides vaccines at no cost to children who might not otherwise be vaccinated because of inability to pay.
A child is eligible for the VFC Program if he or she is younger than 19 years of age and is one of the following:
- Medicaid-eligible
- No Insurance
- Underinsured (Private Insurance does not cover vaccines)
- American Indian or Alaska Native
The following vaccines are currently offered through the Texas Vaccines for Children program:
- DTaP/DT/Td/Tdap
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- HIB
- HPV
- Influenza (Seasonal)
- Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR)
- MMRV
- Meningococcal (MCV4)
- Meningococcal B (BEXERO)
- Pneumococcal (PCV13)
- Polio
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
