Leave Requests

  • The district recognizes the diverse needs of its employees and offers a variety of leave options to accommodate various circumstances. Among these leave options are protected leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Temporary Disability Leave (TDL), Temporary Medical Leave (TML), and the provision for Leave Exception Requests. Below is more information about requesting leave.

  • I need to be out for five (5) because of a personal or family illness.

  • I need to be out for three (3) or more days for personal reasons.

  • I want to request to be off before or after a scheduled holiday.

  • I want to request to take more than five (5) state days in a school year.
