Superintendent Hernandez has a dynamic mission for all district teams to proactively come together to become reflective, data-literate, and deliberate with the ongoing support provided across the district. 

What: 

• We examine how we work together and to take charge of the opportunities to align our thinking/planning/strategizing.
• Future sessions will focus on our collective work together to enhance all of our projects, programs, and initiatives that impact our staff, families, and students.   

When:

• The first Organizational Collaboration Team (OCT) Session was held on May 15th, 2022 and is ongoing once a month. 
  • Invitations are extended to anyone on district department teams that can benefit from joining in this process. 
• We meet regularly on a monthly basis to team up to guide the work of our teams and tackle district needs together.
  • These sessions bring our work together on additional issues that need to be confronted more broadly with intentionality and purpose.

Future design teams involving stakeholders across the district will be developed in order to create a culture of inquiry and the facilitation of innovative ideas on areas of focus and improvement.
