Who We Are

The Irving ISD Maintenance department is responsible for the maintenance and repair for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Lighting (Exterior and Interior), Life Safety Systems (fire alarm, fire extinguishers, fire sprinkler, public announcement and clocks), Food Service Equipment, Carpentry, Painting, Locksmithing, Glass Repair and Roofing.

Our One Team One Solution approach to building maintenance is to provide well-maintained facilities for all of our students and staff. All maintenance workorder requests are prioritized and routed to the appropriate personnel each day. Each work order is assigned a priority based on the request ability to provide a functional and a well maintained building for our staff and students. This routine workorders are completed in the order that they are received. This allows maintenance to service the district facilities equally.  

Maintenance Requests

Emergency request can be called into the Maintenance Expeditor at 972.600.5142 during normal business hours Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Emergency request after 3:30p.m. Monday through Friday or on the weekends need to be called into security at 972.600.5134. Emergencies are dispatched immediately to the appropriate personnel. Emergency services are situations which will affect the life, health or safety of the occupants, nature gas leak, sanitary sewer or an incident that has the potential to cause severe damage to a building.
