Brandi Johnson, Principal
Mrs. Johnson has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in English, and a Master of Science in Curriculum Instruction and Assessment. She began her career in education working for Fort Worth ISD where she taught AVID and Journalism. She also served in the capacity of a Programs of Choice Coordinator, a GT Specialist and an Assistant Principal. Mrs. Johnson then transitioned to Arlington ISD, where she served both as a traditional Assistant Principal and the Administrator over the Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH). Mrs. Johnson also holds a Superintendent Certification.
“I am both thrilled and honored to serve the Singley Community. My goal is to continue to cultivate an environment where students can develop their skills, talents and passions through their learning experiences”, Johnson says.
Mrs. Johnson enjoys spending quality time with her family and traveling.

Jenny Anderson, Assistant Principal
Ms. Anderson has been a part of the Irving ISD family for many years. Not only did she attend school in Irving from kindergarten through her senior year, she has served the families and staff of Irving ISD as an educator since 2000. Ms. Anderson taught at Crockett Middle School from 2000 to 2006, and was promoted to assistant principal at Crockett, where she served in that role for two years. Ms. Anderson then moved to de Zavala Middle School as an assistant principal from 2008-2012. In 2012, Ms. Anderson moved to Nimitz High School as an assistant principal for one year, then moved to MacArthur High School for two years. She then served as the principal at Bowie Middle School from 2015-2018.
Ms. Anderson’s goal is to take care of the students and teachers at Jack E. Singley Academy. Through building relationships, ensuring students are engaged, included, cared for every day, and by continuing to learn as educators, she will strive to be the best she can for the students, parents, and the community.

Harleigh Jones, Associate Principal - Singley Collegiate Academy
Prior to coming to Irving ISD as a GT/Advanced Academics Coordinator, Dr. Jones led Gifted and Talented, Advanced Placement/Dual Credit, College and Career Readiness programs in several districts in the Houston area as well as serving as an AVID District Director. Currently, Dr. Jones facilitates the Early College High School and Advanced Academic programs at Singley Academy.
Dr. Jones earned a bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education from Louisiana State University, a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Houston, and a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University.

Adrianna Perry, Assistant Principal
Ms. Perry is starting her 18th year at Irving ISD and her 6th year as an Assistant Principal at Singley Academy. She began her career at Irving ISD as the head athletic trainer at MacArthur High School in 2007.
Ms. Perry earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Angelo State University, a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology from Texas Woman’s University, and her Principal Certification from Lamar University. When Mrs. Perry is not serving her students and staff at school, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs Mac and Charlie.

Jesus Quezada, Assistant Principal
During his 15 years in education, Jesus has had the honor of being a Special Education paraprofessional for 2 years. He has taught Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, Second, and Fourth grade. For the last five years, Jesus has been blessed to be a part of the Irving ISD family. While at Townsell Elementary, he was entrusted to be a second-grade level leader, campus bilingual lead, campus mentor coordinator, a district mentor with Ed Connect, and was given the opportunity to be a part of Irving ISD's LEAP Cohort 2, of which he is now an alumnus. In addition, he served as Administrative Liaison at Singley Academy for the 2020-2021 school year. Jesus was blessed with the opportunity of being a part of the Hanes Cowboy family, where he served as Assistant Principal for the 2021-2022 school year. Jesus has returned to the Phoenix family in his new role as an Assistant Principal. He continues to build strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and members of the community to ensure student academic success and college readiness. Mr. Quezada enjoys spending quality time with his wife, four children and two grandchildren any chance he gets.
