Delicia Floyd, Principal
Mrs. Floyd fell in love with early childhood education over thirty years ago as an undergraduate at Stephen F. Austin State University. She received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from SFASU in 1995 and a Master’s in Leadership and Policy studies in 2006 for the University of Texas at Arlington.
She started her career in education in 1995 at J. O. Davis Elementary where she taught Pre-Kindergarten/ESL for four years. She spent fifteen years at Kinkeade ECS as a teacher, Academic Specialist and Assistant Principal. In addition, she served as an Assistant Principal at Otis Brown Elementary for 8 years before returning to Kinkeade in 2022.
Mrs. Floyd feels grateful and blessed beyond measure to be the principal at Kinkeade and looks forward to serving our youngest scholars, their families, and the wonderful team of early childhood educators.

Patricia Payne, Assistant Principal
Patricia Payne began her career in education as a teacher at Kinkeade Early Childhood School. After 6 years teaching Pre-K, she moved to Schulze Elementary where she taught Kindergarten and 4th grade.
She received an undergraduate degree from Lamar University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas Dallas.
Mrs. Payne believes that Early Childhood Education is crucial, as it is the foundation for all learning. With students, parents, and staff, Mrs. Payne is excited to help our youngest students grow!
