Linda Rothey, Principal
Mrs. Rothey most recently served as Assistant Principal at Coppell Middle School - North in Coppell ISD, where she led key initiatives including campus-wide MTSS coordination, professional learning communities and targeted instructional strategies that led to measurable student growth. Prior to that, she was a Bilingual District Instructional Coach in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD.Rothey holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University and has extensive experience across roles including classroom teacher, instructional coach, curriculum writer, RTI coordinator, and summer school administrator. Her certifications span principal leadership, bilingual education, special education and core subjects. -
Carlos Ramirez, Assistant Principal
Carlos Ramirez Moye is entering his eighteenth year in education and is thrilled to begin his journey at Stipes Elementary School. He brings with him 10 years of experience in the classroom, 5 years of specialized academic instruction, 1 year of high school guitar instruction and an additional year as an Administrator at De Zavala Middle School.
He is a father of a dancer, 12 yr old, Carlos Eduardo Ramírez-Holguín, and a warrior, 9 yr old, Emma Carolina Ramirez-Holguín. His wife is a language acquisition specialist for Coppell ISD.
Carlos graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a bachelor's and master’s degree in Guitar Music Performance. Although spending time with his family is his most valuable treasure, he really enjoys connecting with people and families, and never shies away from a good carne asada!

Yolanda Williams, Assistant Principal
Mrs. Yolanda Williams grew up in East Texas where she received an Associate of Arts degree from Tyler Junior College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (with minors in English and Reading) from Stephen F. Austin State University. She also holds a Master’s of Education Administration from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.
Yolanda began her career in education teaching 3rd graders at John F. Kennedy Elementary in Terrell ISD. Mrs. Williams transitioned to Irving ISD and joined the J.O. Davis family where she taught learners in grades 3- 5-general education, gifted/talented, multi-age, and ESL for 14 years. During that time, Mrs. Williams also enjoyed opportunities to serve as a district trainer for various initiatives in Irving ISD, Summer School administrator, being a part of the district's Curriculum Writing Team, as well as the blessing of being named Teacher of the Year.
Mrs. Williams joined Coppell ISD and enjoyed 3 years learning and growing professionally as a Digital Learning Coach. She returned to Irving ISD where she served for 4 years as an Academic Specialist at A.S. Johnston Elementary and as a district curriculum writer for ELAR and Science. Most recently, she was an Assistant Principal at TJ Lee Elementary School.
Mrs. Williams is now Assistant Principal at Stipes Elementary School, where she’s excited to partner with staff, faculty, families, and the community to impact teaching and learning.
She has seen each experience as a blessing and opportunity for growth. Mrs. Williams has a passion for the PLC culture which supports a focus on learning, culture of collaboration, results orientation, and a growth mindset.
