Henry Taylor, Principal
Mr. Taylor is thrilled to be returning as the principal of Thomas Haley Elementary. He is committed to ensuring that every student reaches their fullest potential and is proud to announce that Thomas Haley was a “B” rated campus last year! The staff members at Thomas Haley strive to promote the academic, social and personal development of all of our Horned Frogs. Mr. Taylor looks forward to continuing his work with the students, parents, community members and the dedicated staff of the GREAT Thomas Haley Elementary School as we continue to Learn together, Empower others, Achieve goals, Discover our potential and reach for our goal of becoming an “A” rated campus.
Mr. Taylor graduated from the University of New Orleans with a bachelor’s degree in Human Performance and Health Promotion and obtained his Master of Education in Educational Administration from Lamar University. He has worked in Education for 18 years and had the pleasure of working with T.H.E. amazing Horned Frogs as assistant principal for three years before moving into his current role. He has also served as an assistant principal in Dallas ISD.
Mr. Taylor looks forward to working hand and hand with every member of the Thomas Haley community. His vision for all Horned Frogs is to achieve greatness and DREAM BIG!!!

Shenia Brass, Assistant Principal
Greetings, Horned Frogs!
I am proud to be your Assistant Principal at Thomas Haley Elementary School! With 18 years experience in elementary education, I have worked in a vast number of roles including Assistant Principal in Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD, Instructional Coach in Hurst Euless Bedford ISD and Fort Worth ISD as well as taught Second and Third Grades in Fort Worth ISD. I am passionate about student growth, teacher collaboration and building strong school-community relationships. I believe that every child has unique strengths and the potential to succeed when they are supported, challenged and celebrated for who they are.
I have a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in Educational Leadership in Policy Studies as well as a master’s degree in Organizational Management from Dallas Baptist University. I also have a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of North Texas.
I look forward to an amazing school year! Our mission is to help each child develop to their fullest potential through motivation, encouragement and support!
