Mariana Gómez, Principal
Mariana Gómez returns to Otis Brown Elementary as Principal in her 19th year with Irving ISD—a full-circle moment that began at Brown as a third-grade bilingual teacher. Her experience spans teaching multiple grade levels, Special Education, instructional coaching, and leadership roles as Assistant Principal at Thomas Haley and AS Johnston Elementary Schools.
Known for building collaborative, student-centered learning communities, Gómez champions equity, academic rigor, and whole-child support. She holds a master’s in educational administration from Concordia University Texas and a bachelor’s in international business and Spanish from the University of Texas at Arlington, along with multiple teaching and leadership certifications.

Christina Holt, Assistant Principal
Ms. Holt is honored to serve as one of the Assistant Principals of Otis Brown Elementary School. Her goal is to help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging school environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to achieve their full potential. She believes in building strong relationships, supporting academic growth, and encouraging students to be kind, responsible, and curious learners.
Ms. Holt is in her 15th year of education and this is her 7th as an assistant principal. She graduated from the University of North Texas- Denton with her bachelors degree and received her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership in 2015 from Texas A&M University- Commerce.
Ms. Holt has one daughter, Abby who is a Freshman in college. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and spoiling her niece and nephews! She is very excited to be a part of the Brown Bear family and looks forward to a successful and memorable school experience for every student.

Haley Wolf, Assistant Principal
Ms. Wolf is excited to return for her fourth year with Brown Elementary as an Assistant Principal. She graduated from Abilene Christian University in 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education and received her Master's degree in Educational Leadership in 2019 from American College of Education.
She is a product of Irving ISD, attending both Lively Elementary and Crockett Middle School. Ms. Wolf returned to Irving ISD right out of college in 2008 and is starting her 18th year in the district. She has previously worked as an ESL teacher and instructional interventionist at Lively Elementary.
Ms. Wolf enjoys reading and spending time with her two dogs. She is proud to be a part of the Brown Bear family and is looking forward to a wonderful year!
