    At W. T. Hanes, We Strive to be

    T.R.U.E. 

    Cowboys and Cowgirls!

     

    Every day, we work hard to be TRUSTWORTHY, RESPONSIBLE, to show UNITY with one another, and exhibit EXCELLENCE in everything we do. 

     

    Through our class and school-wide expectations, Hanes Elementary uses an evidence-based framework that supports students’ behavioral, academic, social-emotional, and mental health called PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports). 

     

    Students earn Cowboy Cash when they are caught exercising one of the T.R.U.E. characteristics. Students have multiple opportunities throughout the school day and school year to earn Cowboy Cash. 

     

    On scheduled days during the month, the Cowboy Store is open for students to purchase items with their Cowboy Cash. 

     

    W. T. Hanes serves over 650 students, so keeping the Cowboy Store stocked with items is a challenge as our funds are depleting quickly.
